Biography
Junebug is a band from North Wales & Wirral UK. They make catchy, melodic indie pop / alternative rock music. The band was formed in 1997 and the present lineup has been active since 2003. They have had radio play on BBC Wales, BBC Merseyside and XFM over the years. There are 7 Junebug albums to date plus a 'Best Of' in the pipeline.

Original music
Junebug write and record their own songs. Their sound is similar to The Beach Boys, The Ramones, The Beatles, The Who & The Kinks. Warm, uplifting music which is punchy and memorable. The band is a three piece lineup of guitar, bass and drums. Keyboards are often added when recording songs. The guitarist is the lead vocalist and the bass player adds backing vocals. Junebug can be fast and punky or mellow and relaxed.




Live Gigs
The band perform their own music and also do covers gigs (classic rock and pop). They have performed at venues across the North West, North Wales and on occasion, London. Notable gigs include David Bash's IPO Festival on Matthew St Liverpool, where they have performed at the Cavern Club.
